Sooner rather than later

As it turns out, Uncovered Ruby will be closing
for business the 25th of February.  Many vendors will be having
sales in their spaces starting this next Wed. the 15th.
Andy's Attic will have many things on sale for
20% off.  I am very sad about this but will find
a new home.

Please be safe and give someone your smile,

Sad News and Happy News

Uncovered Ruby

Uncovered Ruby  is closing.  My little Andy's
Attic was started inside this shop because Sally and
Lisa gave me a chance.  This is very sad news for me and
many vendors and customers who love this shop. We are
hoping that someone will take it over and keep the effort
going forward.  Sally and Lisa took a chance with
this venture and it worked out.  Thank you both.

On a happier note:  My cat Munchy got new grass today!

So all is well in her little world!

Till next time,

Be safe and give someone your smile   :>)

Last Year's Things

I know I already posted about the sale at Andy's Attic.

But I went in last weekend and rearranged things so that
most of the items on sale would be together. And I was

overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that is 1/2 price.
And on top of that I marked other things down. Those

of you who have a space/booth somewhere.......do you
ever just want to get it all out and start over?? That is
where I am right now. I want it gone, sold, taken away.

A fresh look is needed. When I started The Attic
I decided to make my own price tags out of different
colors for different months. That way I know how
long something has been sitting on the shelves.

So things are for sale at a bargain. Dealers welcome. Thrifters
and bargain hunters welcome. Any one who loves a deal
is welcome. Please help my psyche and take some away.

I am in one of those moods that my husband loves.....no, not
that,.....I want to get rid of things. Sort out the closets, and
drawers, and garage, and potting shed. And it extends to
Andy's Attic. A new year means a new beginning...starting
from a different angle, a new look. Out with the old, in with
the new.

Anyway, the sale will go till the end of the month. I will be
bringing in new things along the way. I hope you can make it
to the sale and see all the other new things in Uncovered Ruby.

Thank you for reading my rant, Annette

Ending October at Andy's Attic

Today I went to Uncovered Ruby to "fluff" my little Attic. I took out a desk
and put in a table and really had planned on not doing much more. I had
packed a few items to add to the space but told myself that I need to get
home to work on things for the Vintage Gathering Christmas Emporium.

And then something came over me. You may know the feeling.....things
just need to be rearranged. Not just fluffed, but put in new places, moved
around, given a new look. My husband calls it "playing house" when I do it
at home. So I guess this would be called "playing Attic"? All I know is that
when it is done, I secretly know that it will never be "done". And so at some
point I just say OK and walk away, knowing that I will be back to "play Attic"
another day.
Now back to work............Annette (I think some little gremlins got in my
blog and "fluffed" this post)
