Favorite Project Part 2

Here it is! The lattice at the bottom was added as much for
decor as to keep all the little creatures out.

And the walls and ceiling are finished in bead board. I came
home from a little vacation and walked in and found my
dream come true!

This is the big window that faces west and up to the left
is a sort of skylight for winter light. You see, I am supposed
to share part of the shed with Mr. Attic so he can grow
things from seed and overwinter plants.........

This view looks out to the front and you can tell we need
to do quite a bit of landscaping still.

I've decided to paint it all white. I have so many colorful
things to put out here and hang on the walls that it is
difficult to think of a colored wall or ceiling.

Except over here where the wood is exposed, I think I will
go with a green stain on the wood. I also plan to skirt the
bench so I can hide things (lots of things).

The floor is a vinyl remnant. There wasn't much to choose
from and I just couldn't go with a beige/white laundry
room looking floor.

To say the least I am thrilled with the outcome. Now I have
to wipe down the walls and paint and stain and then I can
really start to have some fun...............Putting it all back
together. I will post some updates as time goes on.

Until then, be safe and happy,

Annette

All of your treasures are just going to POP against that beautiful bead board! And I like your floor choice alot. Is it ok that I'm a wee bit jealous?

Oh, so darling! I have a potting shed (shared with hubby) that is held together by termite spit! I love it dearly but it is falling apart; we do plan to rebuild it one of these days/years. I just cleaned out my side and threw things out and tried to have a place for everything and everything in its place. But yours, oh my!

my gosh, this potting shed is my dream. It came out beautiful. I have been wanting one forever. Must show hubby later.
Hubby starts taking plants this week to his office (which is very large- thank God).
Is the potting shed heated?
Have lots of fun with your little retreat.
Hugs, Evi

Green. Green. with. envy. I soooo wish I had a beautiful and charming little spot like this for myownself.. :-) It's as cute as can be. Oh what fun you'll have inside....putzing and making and dreamin'... Ahhhhh....

I totally forgot you were from that area down there. Now, I think I remember that there were several things to see in Battleground? My daughter and I are going to take a spin down there one of these days. I want her to be able to see the Camas Antique Mall....and I don't want to miss other goodies. Heck no.

Take care dear one...and have a wonderful week. And, thank you for your prayers for my girl.

Huggies,
Spencer

What a gorgeous space...my much smaller LittleFrenchGardenHouse is a little envious. But not really. No matter what the size, these little houses are so much fun. Yours is so beautiful, can't wait to see what it will look like when all done. :)
