Once upon a time there was a
group of friends who decided
to have a flea market. It went well,
so they decided to have another.
Then they figured they needed a name.
A Vintage Gathering was born.
Look at us now!! We have a 2 page spread in the fall issue of Romantic Country magazine. Best Vintage Flea Markets Coast to Coast. I am so proud to be a part of the original group and to be able to see this grow so that we have many more vendors and get national press. Sue Hagood of BirdSong spoke to the magazine about our shows. Amy Kozma of Into Vintage put our name in the hat for this honor. Thanks to both of you and to Romantic Country!!! SO PROUD :>) |

Several years ago I stumbled across a Vintage Gathering on my way home from Barn House. AVG was such a charming event then and still is now -- so thrilled to now be a vendor at A Vintage Gathering! Funny how things work out. ;-)
That is very EXCITING!! Just think of all the business it will bring in! Good for ALL!. I have that magazine, so I better check it out!

Wow, how very cool! Congrats to you all...a great accomplishment, indeed.
Congratulations! I haven't seen that issue on the stands yet, but I'll be looking for it!

Congratulations!!!!!!
Looking for the mag this week.
I wish you and your family a happy 4th of July.
Many hugs, Evi
About the photos: 2 issues...1) Picasa is the Google photo album into which all of your Blogger photos go; they only give you a certain amount of free space, and I'm about 10% away from using mine up! I think you have to pay after that.
2) if you computer seems to be getting full, it's probably because of photos stored on your hard drive. Mine is getting full, too! I'm organizing them so that I can move/copy them onto an outboard hard drive. Ugh. I'm NOT into computer stuff, so I dislike all of this sort of activity. I need someone to do it for me, please!
Happy, Happy Dance for you Annette! Wooohooooo! I'm thrilled for you. What an accomplishment.
