Beautiful day of Junking

Last weekend I went junking out in the country.

This is the kind of view I saw.

This garage sale had parking "down the road".

This was a barn sale at the tree farm.

This was just some amazing old green contraptions I passed.

This deer was in my yard when I got home.

So was this little guy.

And off they went...that crazy lady was unloading her car!

And my Munchy was waiting inside.

Here is some of what I found....a few little treasures.

Cool graphics on this old crepe paper.

A couple of old spelling books. An ironstone platter, and a
neat old handled box with a monogram.

A sweet little bowl with flowers. (can't resist them)

A little birdie whistle, a relaxing colt and some vintage
fru fru.
There was more but this gives you an idea. It was just a
gorgeous day in the country. I went down roads I'd never
been on and saw beautiful scenery. A girl can't ask for
much more.
What was your weekend like??
Annette

What a beautiful day, from start to finish! I love all of your finds, but especially that box that looks like a little suitcase!

Hi Annette!

Oh my goodness..........LOVE the little bowl. I believe it's oven serve... I've collected bits of it for years, but have never run across white with posies. Mostly just pink and yellow. I believe my girl has a piece that's brown. It's great stuff!

You found some great things. I don't think they even make crepe paper in the big sheets anymore. All I've been able to find are the packs of strips.

Beautiful scenery.. Especially the "contraptions"...

Huggies!

I love your crepe paper packages! I have some older crepe paper too, but can't bring myself to use it....I don't know what I'm waiting for. I guess it could be used to decorate my coffin some day (lol)!

The crepe paper reminds me of my old school days, making paper flowers. Can you even buy that stuff anymore? Great find! Can't wait to see you all on Saturday at Uncovered Ruby's anniversary sale!

Loved the country road and field scenes, nothing is more fun than a ride in the country and the bonus is the treasures you have found. Have a good sale on Saturday, I will have to miss it as I am over east. Hugs Florence
