The name of my blog has changed to match the name of my Etsy shop Andy's Vintage Attic. The URL has not changed for the blog.

So Proud

Once upon a time there was a
group of friends who decided
to have a flea market.  It went well,
so they decided to have another.

Then they figured they needed a name.
A Vintage Gathering  was born.

Look at us now!!  We have a 2
page spread in the fall issue of
Romantic Country magazine.

Best Vintage Flea Markets
Coast to Coast.

I am so proud to be a part of the
original group and to be able
to see this grow so that we have
many more vendors and get
national press.

Sue Hagood of BirdSong spoke to
the magazine about our shows.
Amy Kozma of  Into Vintage
put our name in the hat for
this honor.  Thanks to both of
you and to Romantic Country!!!

SO PROUD  :>)

What to Post...

Sometimes I don't post because I
really don't think anything in my
little universe is worth posting
about.  But why not just post anyway...
no one has to read it...

Mr. Attic and I have been working in our yard.
Summer came for two days.  This part looks
great,

this, not so much.  We have a huge
yard  (his choice) and doing the
upkeep is difficult for two people.
Especially when you let it go too
long and the weeds are bigger
than the plants.....

This view is out the side of our
house to our field.

Swing the camera just to the right
and you can see the weeds.  The
large sheet of cardboard is where
I paint things for Andy's Attic.

I made a little hay while the sun
was out...need more sun!!

Threw in the orchid picture because
I really like them...very sweet.

So now the rain is back and I am inside...

Hope everyone has a fun weekend.  Share
your smile with a stranger  :>)

Been out of touch

My friend Sue, from BirdSong, reminded me
today that I have not blogged in forever.  I have been busy with the home front and a little lazy.

Fluffed my space today so here are
some pictures.

Ready for the Fourth of July.  I really don't
have much for this holiday. (sorry about the blur)

These card are so fun.  Some have numbers
and some just have the sound a letter
makes. Great graphics from 1971.

If only I had a cabin, this would be on a bench.

These are all available at Rusty Glamour.

The shop is constantly adding new
items so come on over if you get a chance.
